The Urban Action Showcase & Expo (UASE) is the premier all action entertainment platform celebrating diversity and honoring the multicultural achievements within the blockbuster Action genre including Adventure, Fantasy, Grindhouse, Action Horror, Sci-Fi, and Supernatural content. The UASE is the only all Action entertainment platform offering both fan and professional experiences through it's UAS International Action Film Festival, Urban Action Expo and UAS International Action Film Festival and Honoree Awards platforms. We are the only Action film festival sponsored by the HBO/Cinemax brand featuring the Cinemax Action Short Film Competition. (Winner receives distribution on Cinemax On Demand and Max Go)
The Urban Action Showcase International Action Film Festival welcomes Animation and Live Action Features, Shorts, TV Pilots, Web Series and Action Scenes in all aspects of the Action genre including: Adventure, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Grindhouse, Action Horror, Martial Arts and Supernatural.
The Urban Action Expo platform allows content creators, production and entertainment companies as well as other industry-related vendors the opportunity to showcase their content, goods and services to a multicultural niche target market. The Expo is also the platform in which we execute our educational, facilitation and exposure protocols through our celebrity panels, workshops and master classes. The UASE currently facilitates distribution through its relationships with HBO/Cinemax, Vimeo and Amazon platforms.
The Blockbuster Action genre has been and remains the most profitable and entertaining format. It keeps us all at the edge of our seats. Action content such as Arrow, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, The Flash, and the billion dollar blockbuster Furious 7, are prime examples of how diversity fosters success. By focusing on the thrill and excitement of the Action genre and recognizing the need for integration, the UASE sets itself apart from other festival platforms as the only one of its kind! The purpose of the UASE is to ultimately see an increase in ethnic heroic principal characters in film and television, increase the development of content and expand distribution platforms reflecting multicultural images and interests as it pertains to the multifaceted Action genre.

The quest of the Urban Action Showcase is to Recognize, Promote, Facilitate, Encourage and Inspire the participation of diverse filmmakers in the Action Film Genre.
*The UAS endeavors to recognize minority Indie Action filmmakers by honoring excellence in various aspects of Action film making.
*The UAS will promote minority Action Film making through various media outlets.
*The UAS will facilitate distribution and aggregate production of content with mainstream outlets and digital distribution channels through collaborative partnerships.
*The UAS will encourage new interest through the building of strong networking communities and key sponsorship participation.
*The UAS will inevitably inspire minority interest in the art of Action Film making through information, education, facilitation and exposure.
Protocol
Information: Resourcing a bastion of information pertaining to current trends in technology and methodology.
Education: Fostering education through mentoring, workshops, panel discussions, and events with premier industry professionals.
Facilitation: Establishing a strong network of professionals and industry sponsors in order to support and facilitate integration, growth, and mainstream access. Expanding growth through the provision of trade tools, financial resources and media distribution opportunities in order to increase market visibility.
Exposure: Provide a Forums and Platforms for exposure through a full spectrum Action Film Festival which include a No Budget Contest and Short Form Fight/Action Scene Competitions. Provide exposure through the Urban Action Expo giving vending opportunities to content developers to display their goods to both fan's and professionals increasing visibility while creating networking opportunities.
